Understanding Revisit Intention During Covid-19: A Protection Motivation Theory Perspective

This study aims to empirically investigate the influence of destination image, visitor image congruity, and perceived related health issues on revisit intention role risk as moderators in these relationships. We integrated theory self-congruity protection motivation understand post-pandemic travel behaviour further. Using a moderated regression analysis (MRA), data are collected from 402 students two universities Jakarta. The results provide that congruity positively revisiting intention, while has negative direction. Moreover, is essential relationship between intention. These extend model for predicting crisis/pandemic situations, corroborating earlier studies, providing practical implications stakeholders tourism area managers.
